The <br />obligation to supply the milllmum stream flow as set forth in the above <br />table on the Roaring Fork River shall, to the extent of 3,000 aere-feet <br />annually, be a project obligation to be supRlied from any waters <br />diverted from the south tributaries of Hunter Creek, Lime Creek, Last <br />Chanee Creek, or any of them. <br />The Twin Lakes Reservoir & Canal Co. shall not be required to re- <br />frain from diverting water under its exist.ing decrees from the R.oaring <br />Fork River except to the extent that" like qnantity of replaeement <br />water is furrushed to said eompany without c.harge therefor through <br />and by means of project diversions. <br />If by reason of storage capacity in the Ruedi Reservoir, or any <br />resermir construeted in addition thereto, the Twin Lakes Reseryoir & <br />Canal Co. derives additional water or other benefits or advantages it <br />would not have realized had this project not been eonstructed, then <br />nothing 11erein contained shall prevent t.JJe project from mnking appro- <br />priate charges for such water or other bene.fits or ad \"UlItal(es. All <br />revenues derived from the use of water stored in Ashcroft Heservoir <br />shall be used to assist in the repayment of the construction, operation <br />and maintenance costs of that reseryoiI\ or any reservoir constructed <br />in lieu thereof, as may d"termined by the Secretary of the Interior. <br />12. All lands acquired and held for project construetion and opera- <br />tion and watcr surfac"s of proj"ct reservoirs will be open to thB public <br />~or recreational purposes, excepting those areas reserved by the operat- <br />Ing agency. . <br />13. The project WIll be operated in sueh a manner that those in east- <br />ern Colorado uSlIlg project water imported from the Colomdo Riyer <br />Basin for domestic purposes shall ha ye preference oyer those claiming <br />or usmg 'Water for any ot.her purpose. <br />
