Accomplishment ofFY 98 Tasks and Deliverables, Discussion ofInitial Findings <br />and Shortcomings: <br /> <br />Accomplishments during FY 98 and early FY 99 include: <br /> <br />. The draft integrated report was submitted to a panel of six peer reviewers on <br />October 8, 1998 (the peer review panel included Dr. LeRoy Poff, Dr. Harold Tyus, <br />Dr, Jack Stanford, Dr, Dan Beyers, Dr, Ned Andrews and Dr, David Propst), <br /> <br />'Regular meetings of the Technical Integration Team were conducted and <br />workshops with Principal Investigators was held on November 10, 1997 and July 28, <br />1998, The purpose of the November workshop was to discuss research findings and <br />to formulate preliminary flow needs for Colorado pikeminnow (formerly Colorado <br />squawfish), razorback sucker, humpback chub and the riverine habitats required by <br />the target species, Based on the species and resource specific relationships, <br />preliminary integrated flow recommendations were developed and incorporated into <br />a draft report, A second workshop was held in July 1998 to review and discuss the <br />preliminary draft report with the principal field investigators, Results of this <br />workshop were incorporated into a revised draft that was submitted for peer review <br />in early October 1998, <br /> <br />No attempt to discuss initial findings will be made at this time since the draft report <br />will shortly be available to the Program (January 1999), <br /> <br />Submission of a draft report to the Recovery Program has been delayed for a variety <br />of reasons which include: delays in the finalization of individual reports, the need to <br />incorporate results of the July 1998 workshop in the draft document, late peer review <br /> <br />2 <br />
