<br />~ <br />C.l <br /> <br />c: Joint GVIC and Reclamation Activities <br />'P"'4 <br />,- <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />:.-:: <br /> <br />(1) Determining Base O&M <br /> <br />Reclamation and GVIC will jointly determine base O&M costs <br /> <br />as follows: <br /> <br />(a) GVIC will canvas existing laterals that wish to participate <br /> <br />and jointly develop a base O&M cost '>lith them. <br /> <br />These <br /> <br />costs can be on a lateral-by-lateral basis or for a group <br /> <br />of laterals. <br /> <br />(b) Reclamation will develop an independent estimate of base <br /> <br />O&M costs. <br /> <br />(c) Actual base costs will be negotiated between Reclamation <br /> <br />and GVIC and made part of the O&M contract. <br /> <br />(d) GVIC will collect base O&M costs, using a procedure that <br /> <br />they determine. <br /> <br />(e) Lateral users will agree to the amount of base O&M costs <br /> <br />and the collection method through a formal agreement with <br /> <br />GVIC before construction of the lateral improvements will <br /> <br />begin. <br /> <br />17 <br />
