A rights-of-entry

permit will be signed by the property owner and Reclamation,

describing restrictions and limitation of the rights-of-entry permit.

Entering properties will be to determine if the laterals qualify

for the salinity control program and to collect the necessary

information to design the lateral improvements. Laterals that qualify

will be scheduled for design and construction.

Rights-of-Way/Easements

During design data collection activities, Reclamation will determine

easement widths for construction while GVrC will determine easement

widths for O&M activities.

Working with lateral owners, Reclamation will determine lateral

alinements and, where cost effective, opportunities for combining

laterals. All easements will be donated by the landowners, surveyed

by Reclamation, and held by the GVrc. Where application, Reclamation

will pay damages, within the agreed-upon easement boundaries.

6
