Had N=ws Dam been built prior to the June 1965 flood, <br /> <br />great reduction in flood damage would have' been realized. Plans for <br /> <br />Na~ows Dam must be accelerated and must renew consideration or pro- <br /> <br />visions to control Bijou Creek flood flows which contributed heavily <br /> <br />to flood damage on the South Platte below Ft. Morgan, Colorado. <br /> <br />We will try to keep you infomed as plans are shaped up.in detail <br /> <br />for Narrows Dam. Morgan, Colorado. It would control and put to use the waters of the <br /> <br />South Platte River. <br /> <br />There are flows to be stored and regulated so that urgently needed <br /> <br />supplemental water can be made available to the presently-irrigated, but <br /> <br />water-short farmlands on the lower reaches of the South Platte. <br />
