KUIPER <br /> <br />SAVERY-POT HOOK PROJECT - COLORADO-WYOMING ,-- <br /> <br />Gentlemen: <br /> <br />The Savery-pot Hook Reclamation project is an irrigation <br /> <br />project located in northwestern Colorado and southwestern Wyoming. <br /> <br />The project is located in the Fourth Congressional District - Colo- <br /> <br />rado, and the At Large Congressional District in Wyoming. It is in <br /> <br />the South Pacific Division, Los Angeles District. <br /> <br />The Savery-pot Hook Project is a participating project <br /> <br />of the Colorado River Storage Project. The project would regulate <br /> <br />surplus flows of Savery and Slater Creeks, tributaries of the Little <br /> <br />Snake River in southern Wyoming and northwestern Colorado for the <br /> <br />irrigation of lands in the Little Snake River Basin. It would also <br /> <br />provide benefits to recreation and fish and wildlife. This project <br /> <br />is among the potential participating projects which were given prior- <br /> <br />ity in the completion of planning reports by the Colorado River Storage <br /> <br />Project authorizing Act of April 11, 1956 (70 Stat. 105). <br /> <br />Authorizing legislation for this project has been intro- <br /> <br />duced into both Houses of Congress. The project is unanimously <br /> <br />supported by the entire Congressional delegations of the States of <br /> <br />Colorado and Wyoming. Field hearings were held on this project by <br />
