IN., R. 93 W., on the right bank of the ,fuite River was <br /> <br />drilled as an oil test well in 19l5 by a group of Meeker residents. Drilling was stopped at a depth of 2,690 feet be- <br /> <br />cause no commercial oil or gas sho.ings were encolmtered. ~le detailed <br /> <br />log shows that the well beeins above the Green River fonf.:J.tion and was <br /> <br />drilled in shale, Jru'.rl, sandstone, and dolomite of the Grecn River and <br /> <br />Wasatch formations. <br /> <br />5 <br />
