Calhoun, concerning
the 1975 National Water Assessment on the Texas portion of the
Arkansas-White-Red River Basin. The draft report contains a good
evaluation of the future water needs for Texas.

Since Texas A&M University is actively engaged in research and
educational water resources, the characterization of the water problems
in the region will be very useful to our programs. In our view, the
draft report contains a good characterization of the major water resources
problems in that region of the state.

JRR/em

cc Dr. J. C.
