The remaining 14 wells have been deferred until
water supply needs make construction necessary.

.

The United States pumped from domestic, municipal, and irrigation wells located
within five miles (eight kilometers) of the boundary near San Luis the following
quantities:

Thousands of
Calendar Year Acre Feet Cubic Meters
1976 22,738 28,047
1977 22,990 28,358
1978 17,900 22,079
1979 25,418 31,353
1980 28,527 35,188
1981 38,463 47,443
1982 40,954 50,516
1983 16,707 20,608
1984 ,,- ,,-
"

The Commission is continuing, under Minute No. 242, its program for exchange of
groundwater data for the major groundwater basins lying partly in the United
States and partly in Mexico including the Colorado River delta area. The
objective of the exchange is to make available hydrologic, geologic and water
quality data in either country, to both Sections of the Commission to enable
definition of existing or potential problems.

.

"Data to be supplied later.
