Since.the test was limited <br />in duration it was difficult to assess the impact, however, it was determined <br />that the rate of pumping from the pumping plant would have to be limited to <br />approximately 2.5 cfs per day, <br /> <br />September - San Luis Lake Pumping Plant was tested to determine the feasibility <br />of pumping down the lake as requested by the Division of Wildlife, The rate of <br />pumping was limited to approximately 2.5 cfs per day in order to remain in <br />compliance with Compact requirements for deliveries to the Rio Grande, <br />The water removed from San Luis Lake was delivered to the Blanca Wildlife <br />Habitat Area at a rate of 1 cfs and to the Alamosa Wildlife Refuge at a rate of <br />1,5 cfs, Testing in September began September 10th and ended October 2nd, <br /> <br />October - Completed 2002 mitigation deliveries on October 3rd, 2002, <br /> <br />Alamosa National Wildlife Refuge <br /> <br />41.8 acre-feet (maintenance) <br /> <br />Note: April 28 - May 01, 2002 the storage in the canal below the 6-mile <br />structure was delivered to the Alamosa Wildlife Refuge to lower levels in <br />the canal at the River Outlet to 1,2 feet to allow for maintenance personnel <br />to replace the slide gate stem at the River Outlet <br /> <br />Blanca Wildlife Habitat <br />Blanca Wildlife Habitat <br /> <br />. 800.5 acre-feet (mitigation) <br />53.5 acre-feet (lake water) <br /> <br />October - Completed 2002 mitigation deliveries on October 15th, 2002. <br /> <br />Total Deliveries of Project Production - 14,432 acre-feet <br />
