<br />.1\ 0 ^ r .. <. <br />-u lv.!\) <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />^ <br />, <br />I General Investigations <br /> <br />Feasibi~ity Investigations <br /> <br />The ANIMAS LA PLATA feasibility report vas transmitted to the Bureau <br />of the Budget on April ~O, 1964, to obtain views of that agency rela ti ve <br /> <br />to submittal of the report to Congress. <br /> <br />The DOLORES PROJECT feasibility report was adopted by the Secretary <br /> <br />on October 2, 1964, and sent to State and Federal agencies for formal <br /> <br />review under the Flood Control Act of 1944. The Secretary has received <br /> <br />comments fran reviewers. The final report is being prepared and is <br /> <br />expected to be forwarded to the Bureau of the Budget in the near future. <br /> <br />The Ute Mountain Tribal CO\U1cil on July 21, 1965, passed a reso- <br /> <br />lution to participate in the Animas La Plata and Dolores Projects. <br /> <br />The proposed feasibility report for the DALLAS CREEK PROJECT bas <br /> <br />been reviewed by the Commissioner and Chief Engineer. The report has <br /> <br />been distributed to Federal, State, and local agencies for formal review. <br /> <br />Feasibility designs and est:lJllates on the WEST DIVIDE PROJECT are <br /> <br />essentially cOlllpleted. Preparation of appendixes and writing of the <br /> <br />proposed feasibility report are in progress. The report is scheduled <br /> <br />to be completed by the end of this calendar year. <br /> <br />On the SAN MIGUEL PROJECT, feasibility designs and estimates have <br /> <br />been cOlllpleted. Financial and economic analyses studies and preparation <br /> <br />of the proposed feasibility report are in progress. The proposed report <br /> <br />is scheduled to be cOlllpleted in tl1e fall of this year to be available <br /> <br />for consideration by the State of Colorado. <br /> <br />Preparation of design data, plan formulation studies, water supply <br /> <br /> <br />studies, and agricultural economic studies are in progressron the <br /> <br />4 <br />
