Access to real--time data by the NWS will be an invaluable asset <br />for meteorological support services and improved public warnings. <br /> <br />MODEL 5071RT REMOTE TERMINAL: All text, tabular, and character resolution <br />graphics products that are routinely available at the base stations can be <br />displayed at the remote terminal. Dial-up telephone access through the <br />remote terminal allows NWS officials to see current and historical <br />information contained in the data base. <br /> <br />NWS forecasts, watches, and warnings can also be transmitted to the base <br />station computers.
