On April 4, 1989 the Fish and Wi.ldlife Service (Service)
requested that the Glen Canyon Dam Consultation Team, composed of
individuals from Arizona Game and Fish (AGFD), Bureau of
Reclamation (Reclamation), National Park Service (NPS), and
Service review a draft of the conservation measures and their
objectives. Conservation measures will be actions identified in
the biological opinion that Reclamation will commit to in order
to eliminate the finding of jeopardy to endangered or threotened
species due to the operation of Glen Canyon Darn.

The Consultation Te~~ met on June I, 1989 to consider the ~ritten
comments provide by three of the agencies (AGFD, NPS, and
Service). The attached draft dated June 1 reflects the
consolidated comments of the Team. These measures were provided
to GCES Environmental Team members at the June 5 meeting with
Dr. Duncan Patten (Senior Scientist) and are circulated now in
order to keep all participants appraised of their status.
