S. G. S. , who built and operate it, would U:'e <br /> <br />some type of telemetering device installed. ~. telephone "Telemark" device <br /> <br />could be economically installed and operated at this site and it is recommended <br /> <br />that this be done, At present it is costing $2 per day to hire someone to read <br /> <br />the staff gage and report it to the proper authority. <br /> <br />This station has operated from 1913 - 1953 and from 1959 to date. <br /> <br />JOHN MARTIN RESERVOIR OUTLET STATION - Located one mile <br />below the dam. <br /> <br />This station was built aod is operated by the U, S. G. S. The station <br /> <br />is well located and is adequate. A telephone "Telemark" device ia installed <br /> <br />and in operation here and has proven very satisfactory. Cost of the Tele- <br /> <br />mark installation was about $1, 500 and operating costs are $25. 80 monthly <br /> <br />exclusive of toll calls as follows: Phone - $6.50, Line Charge - $10,20, <br /> <br />Service Charge - $9.10. <br /> <br />The station has operated from 1936 to date. <br /> <br />- 2 - <br />
