Amended approval and revised operations related to
City of Lamar's Frying Pan-Arksnsas Project water

By previous memo dated 7/14/89, I related facts that pertained
to Lamar.s original proposal as approved,
On 7/20/89 I was advised that Lamar's recharge pit was
incapable of handling the release of 40.12 cfs initiated at 0900
hours MOST on 7/17/89 from John Martin Reservoir, of which 40 cfs
had been delivered to the Fort Bent Ditch.
The release was reduced at the city of Lamar's request to 25.07
cfs at 0900 hours MDST on 7/20/89 which will net 25 cfs at the Fort
Bent headgate. This will increase the total number of days required
to evacuate from approximately 22.75 days to 34,51 days,
The members of the Arkansas River Compact Administration were
requested to ratify this action by telephone with the following
results:
