This gage is used by <br /> <br /> <br />the Water Commissioner for administration of water rights and is not reliable <br /> <br /> <br />for use in the calculation of virgin stream flows. The gaging stations on the <br /> <br /> <br />Mancos River near Johnson Canyon have a relatively short period of record <br /> <br /> <br />and, therefore, are not useful in estimation of streamflow for the 1951 through <br /> <br /> <br />1980 study period.
