<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />...... <br />~ <br />N <br />~ON-CONSUMPTIVE USES <br /> <br />Data in Table 3.2 was prepared by the Heritage Conservation and <br />Recreation Service in cooperation with the Western Energy and Land Use <br />Team, Cooperative Instream Flow Service Group, U.S. Fish and Wildlife <br />Service. Fort Collins, Colorado. This effort is a part of the WRC l3(a) <br />assessment for the Upper Colorado River Region. <br /> <br />The table shows estimates of fishing use and boating use (in recre- <br />ation days for 1976) for selected Upper Basin stream reaches. In addition <br />to this data, information for the indicated stream reaches is available <br />from Heritage Conservation and Recreation Service pertaining to: <br /> <br />~. . gauge location and number; <br />2~ estimated requirements for boating (flows); <br />3. percentage of commercial trips, by reach; <br />4. whether a permit is required; <br />5. flow data for the recreation season, by month; <br />6. segment lengths in miles and kilometers; <br />7. slope; and <br />8. difficulty (class) of rapids. <br /> <br />3-4 <br />
