Irrigation: Water used for growing of food and fiber crops. Also <br />ditch and small reservoir evaporation (see note below), loss to <br />phreatophytes, and feed for livestock. <br /> <br />b. Livestock: Drinking water for livestock, and water lost to stock- <br />pond evaporation. <br /> <br />Fish, Wildlife, Recreation: Water used for maintenance of fish, wild- <br />life, and recreation areas but not returned to the stream. Also water <br />used for irrigation of crops for fish and wildlife feeding. <br /> <br />Minerals: Water used for extraction, processing, and shipment of raw <br />materials. <br /> <br />Municipal and Industrial (M&I): Water consumed by domestic, rural domes- <br />tic, commercial, retail, and manufacturing facilities. Final processing <br />of raw material for other products also included (e.g., petroleum for <br />synthetic fibers). <br /> <br />Exports: Transbasin diversions. <br /> <br />NOTE: Colorado River Storage Project (CRSP) evaporation of approximately <br />520,000 AF/yr from main stem reservoirs (Flaming Gorge, Curecanti <br />Unit, and Navajo) is not included in any of the above categories <br />and is therefore not shown as a depletion in the preceding tables. <br /> <br />3-3 <br />
