WORK PROGRAtl <br /> <br />The proposed work program is based on the assUlllption that the data <br /> <br /> <br />furnished to the Consultant and Independent Panel of Experts are suffi- <br /> <br /> <br />ciently complete so as to provide for a comprehensive review without <br /> <br /> <br />requiring additional exploration, data collection and testing. A work <br /> <br />schedule which covers the items discussed below is appended to the end <br /> <br /> <br />of this proposal. <br /> <br />a. Collect and Review Data <br /> <br />All relevant data will be collected from the USBR immediately <br /> <br /> <br />after the start of services to permit a detailed review of the data <br /> <br /> <br />prior to the meetings of the Panel of Experts. <br /> <br />b. Site Inspection <br /> <br />During the review of the data, our team will make a detailed <br /> <br />inspection of the site and will make spot checks of drill logs and <br /> <br />drill cores. <br /> <br />c. Monitor Independent Panel Meetings <br /> <br />The knowledge gained from the data review and site inspection <br /> <br /> <br />will provide a good background for a better understanding of the <br /> <br /> <br />meetings of the Panel of Experts as well as provide sufficient <br /> <br /> <br />information for a preliminary assessment and evaluation of the <br /> <br /> <br />foundation conditions under the embankments and of the foundation <br /> <br /> <br />treatment proposed by the USBR. <br /> <br />d. Verbal Report on Meetings <br /> <br />The Water Conservation Board will be briefed verbally during <br />and after the meetings of the Panel of Experts. These briefings <br />
