<br />E_X <br /> <br />DESCRIPTION OF ORGANIZATION <br /> <br />Engineering Consultants, Inc. (ECI) was incorporated in the Stote of Colorado, <br />U ,S.A Of an August 2, 1957, For the purpose of providing general consulting engineer- <br />ing services, and now has grown into a worldwide engineering organization with a staff <br />of more than 100 people. <br /> <br />ECI has provided consulting engineering services in many countries of the <br />warld. Major assignments have required preparation of feasibi Iity reports, designs, <br />specifications, construction supervision and initial operation of water storage, irri- <br />gation, drainage. flood control ond other types of water resource development <br />projects. <br /> <br />The principal staff merrhers of ECI have devoted their professional caree~ to <br />the development of natural resources throughout the world. Several members formerly <br />held key p~itions of responsibility on the Chief Engineer's staff of the United States <br />Bureau of Reclamation and were responsible for Feasibility studies, preparation of de- <br />signs and supervision of construction for many multipurpose reclamation projects. <br /> <br />The permanent stoff of ECI includes personnel who hove extensive experience <br />in irrigation engineering and land development. Many staff members have served in <br />consulting capacities in developing countries on projects designed to promote the <br />effective use of water and related natural resources. Further, ECI can call upon the <br />assistance of internationally known specialists if it believes that their assistance is <br />needed. Also, Eel is utilizing modern electronic computer equipment located in its <br />Denver office to increase the accuracy and quality of its engineering design and <br />feasibility studies, resulting in superior designs and in reduction of the overall <br />project cost to the client. <br /> <br />ECI is particularly proud of its training program for foreign engineers. To <br />date, mOre than 200 engineers have been trained in the Denver offfce in various <br />engineering fields. Concurrent with the training program in the Denver office, a <br />comporable program has been provided by Eel's resident engineers in countries in <br />which ECI is working. <br /> <br />~::E <br />
