Based on the findings of the Environmental
Assessment, the proposed action is the only
alternative that would satisfy the objectives of
meeting the projected peak water demands by
May 1997 and providing improved reliability of
the Southern Nevada Water System. Potential
project-related impacts will be reduced to a level
of non-significance with the implementation of
the mitigation measures which have been
incorporated into the project.
