<br />:,~8 <br /> <br />Proiect Management Assistant The Project Management Assistant will work directly for <br />the RGDSS project manager to provide assistance in implementing the RGDSS, The <br />anticipated three-year budget is described in Table I. The assistant is expected to be <br />located approximately half-time in the CWCB and CDWR Denver Office and half-time <br />in the CDWR Alamosa Office. He or she is expected to provide assistance with overall <br />project management and in one or more of the following specific areas: <br />· Section 5.2.1.4, Well Permits and Water Rights, <br />· Section 5.2.1.1, Stream Gages (12), <br />· Section 5.2,1.2, Diversion Gages (8), <br />· Section 5.2.4, Water Right Administration Tool, <br />· Technical product review, and <br />. Data quality. <br /> <br />Other Contractor Responsibilities (Applicable to All): Each consultant must coordinate <br />with the Project Manager, System Integration Team and other consultants as <br />necessary to make sure that data needs are coordinated and can flow smoothly from <br />one model to the other as required for the successful operation and calibration of <br />each modeling effort. <br /> <br />State Responsibilities <br /> <br />The State will be responsible for performing the activities described in the Feasibility <br />Study as follows, with the anticipated three year budget described in Table I: <br />· Section 5.2.1.4, Well Permits and Water Rights, <br />. Section 5.2.1.1, Stream Gages (12), <br />. Section 5.2.1.2, Diversion Gages (8), <br />. Section 5.2.6, Big River Model, <br />· Section 5.2.2.6, StateMod Code Enhancement <br />· Section 5.2.13.1, State Project Management, and <br />· Section 5.2.4, Water Right Administration Tool <br /> <br />Note: This task is expected to include some research to be performed in cooperation with <br />the USGS under a cost-sharing program. The budget for these activities is expected to <br />originate from cost savings associated with the State performance of Task 5.2.1.4, Well <br />Permit and Water Rights; Task 5.2.4, Water Rights Administration Tool; and Task <br />5.2.2.6, StateMod Code Enhancement. Activities which may be performed under this <br />task mav include the following: <br />· Characterize the geology and aquifer (confined, unconfined or combination) being <br />observed as part of an existing well monitoring program. <br />· Modflow enhancements as follows: <br />I.
