The <br />existing diversion structure would be stabilized and incorporate a proposed concrete intake for <br />the new river pump station. The river intake would be screened and gated and inClude ail <br />Emergency Standby Generator in the new river pump station. ' <br /> <br />The purposes of the proposed action are to': <br /> <br />(I) provide a redundant raw water supply to the existing treatment plant, and <br /> <br />(2) provide additional capacity to meet existing peak water demands and anticipated <br />demands at build-out of the Pueblo West community.
