<br />Chairman Wagner reported on the modification on Brochure #6, and stated the General
<br />Manager is presently working on several other Brochures. which will be referred to the
<br />Committee in the future.

<br />President Nichols called the attention of the Directors to the printed report prepared by
<br />the General Manager, and urged tbat the report be read by the Individuals,

<br />Colorado Water ~onservation Board: President Nichols reported that he and General
<br />Manager Thomson attended the regular meeting of the Colorado Water Conservation Board
<br />held in Alamosa on September 5, and that among topics discussed was the Closed Basin in
<br />the San Luis Valley,
<br />
<br />Trinidad Dam Ground Breaking: President Nichols reported that he, Director Christy,
<br />and General Manager Thomson attended the formal Ground Breaking Ceremony at Trinidad
<br />Dam, held in Trinidad on Friday, September 6, 1968,

<br />Fry-Ark Commission: President Nichols stated that Chairman F. L. Sparks. Director,
<br />Colorado Water Conservation Board, had originally called a meeting of this Commission
<br />for September 26; but Qwing to the fact that several members could not attend, haa re-
<br />scheduled the meeting for October 24. Mr, NicholS reported that one topic to be discussed
<br />by the Commission will be the Ruedi Reservoir use.
<br />
<br />Orchard Mesa ,Matter: President Nichols reported that progress is being made on the
<br />Orchard Mesa problem in Western Colorado, and that the Engineers and the Attorneys
<br />involved hoped to have recommendations ready prior to the next irrigation season.
<br />
<br />There being nothing further to come before the meeting, it was regularly adjourned at
<br />2:25 p. m.
