<br />The Amity /Mutual Irrigation Company <br /> <br />'- 1504 <br /> <br />The Resolution Committee reported as follows: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />UBE IT RESOL VED,. that the Stockholders of the Amity Mutual Irriga- <br />tion Campan,}' do extend our most sincere sympathies to the families and <br />relatives DC w. E. Carlin, Lela Woolery, Don S. Mimms, Louis Guidotti, <br />Anna Rachel Carr, James L. McGee, Pearl E. Morris, who have become <br />deceased the past year. <br /> <br />We have enjoyed working with these, our members, as co-workers <br />for OUf system and in our community and their contributions to their com- <br />munities will be forever remembered. <br /> <br />Be it further resolved, that copics of this resolution shall be given to <br />the newspapers and sent to their families as a token of our respect." <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />t'\\!HEREAS, Pursuant to the terms of the decree in the certain suit <br />in Bent County, Colorado in which the Fort Lyon Canal Company was plaintiff <br />and the Amity Mutual Irrigation Company was defendent, the terms thereof <br />proved that the rates of division of the expenses should remain at the amounts <br />fixed by said decree until November 1st. 1968 and whereas no additional re- <br />gular meeting of the Stockholders will occur between now and said date: <br /> <br />"NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, THAT THE STOCKHOLDERS <br />do hereby authorize its Board of Directors, Officers and Attorney to take <br />any and all action deemed necessary or expedient, or refrain from action, <br />as may seem most expedient to them Cor the interest of the Companr. and to <br />ratify and confirm the acts of the Directors, Officers. and Attorney in such <br />matters as may be adjusted or determined therein." <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />"BE IT RESOLVED, that the Stockholders of the Amity Mutual Irriga_ <br />tion Company do hereby restate and reaffirm their opposition to the creation <br />cL a permanent pool in John Martin Reservoir, and do oppose any and all <br />pending or proposed legislation calculated to create such a pool and do <br />authorize the Officers and Directors of the Company to cooperate with other <br />ditches, water users and other like-minded parties, in opposing said pool <br />and said legislation!' <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />"BE IT RESOLVED, that the Stockholders of the Amity Mutual <br />Irrigation Company go on record commending the Board of Directors and <br />Employees of the Company who servod us faithfully In our behalf during <br />the past year , and we therefore extend our sincere thanks for their services." <br /> <br />P3 <br />
