John Martin Reservoir

On April 1, storage in this reservoir was 42,949 acre feet. Releases
for irrigation were began April 1. The reservoir was emptied on April 21.
Heavy inflow caused the gates to be closed on June 15. This created storage
which lasted until June 23. On July 28 the gates were again closed. Water
stored during this period lasted until August 22. John Martin remained empty
for the rest or the season. At this writing a small amount of water is in
storage.
