2.5.11 Weather Stations
The Weather Stations window displays geographic information about the location of different weather
stations (far-right column) used for the area modeled. You can weight these stations according to your
needs. For example, if you feel a certain station is more representative of the area being modeled, you can
increase the weight of that station. The rest of the information is data and should not be edited without saving
the original data.

You can choose different combinations of summary input files with the options in the Output Type
field. The four types of files created by the CU Model are described below:

. Input - Produces a summary of the input file in a text file.
. .prj - Produces a summary of the annual and monthly consumptive use.
. .owb - Produces a summary of the basin-wide water budget in a text file.
. .obc.opm file - Produces a detailed output of the Blaney-Criddle and/or the Penman-Monteith
methods in a text file.

2.6 Running the CD Model

After the input files have be edited and saved, select Model Options> Run CU. A MSDOS window is
opented and the run_cu program is run. The output files specified will be created and can be viewed in the
Results Window.

2.7 Results Window

This window is displayed after the model is run , unless a project (* .prj) file has already been created.
