<br />Willow Creek Reser"Vo:lx, together with an appurtenant pumping <br />plant and. pump canal, will regulate Willow Creek flows and.. transfer <br />surplus waters to Granby Reservo:lx. Plans for this feature inclUde <br />the construction of an earth and. rockfill type dam on Willow Creek <br />about 4.5 miles north of Granby and a canal, 3.4 miles long, lead- <br />ing from the reservoir to the pumping plant and thence to Granby <br />Re servoir. <br /> <br />Granby Pumping Plant (1947-1950) is located on the north shore <br />of Granby Reservoir about three miles north of Granby Dam. The <br />pumping units Hft water frarr Granby Reservoir to the Granby Pump <br />Canal which carries the water north to Shadow Mountain Lake. This <br />plant is exceeded in size by only two other Reclamation pumping <br />plants--the Grand Coulee Pumping Plant at Grand.
