possible situation for several conditions, but a more assured water supply would

be desirable.

Priorities recognized A system of priorities would stabilize the situation,

at least for the top priority acreage. To study priorities, computations were

made for three situations, each having a limit of 2.50 acre-feet per acre and

having three classes of land. The period 1945-64 was used in these computations

as this is believed more representative than the period 1900-64. Table 21 (p. 32)

shows annual allocations for 550,000, 600,000 and 650,000 acres with three classes
