301)139

Contract Flow-Support Reach Information

"

July 7, 1993
Page 2

(2) Annual Limit. An enabled reservoir
will also have a choice between "no-limit"
and a user-specified annual limit in AF
upon the amount of water which may be
released for this purpose.

(3) Relative Order. When there is only
one enabled reservoir upstream from a
given flow-support reach, the
implementation will cause any required
release to come from that reservoir.
However, when more than one enabled
reservoir is located upstream from a given
flow-support reach, a relative ordering
among the reservoirs is needed to
determine which reservoir will make the
release. In Version 1.0 of the Planning
Model, this order will be hardwired,
because its natural order is fairly clear and
because its meaning might be confusing to
users if they were allowed to modify it.

(4) Default Values. The enabled
reservoirs will be: Blue Mesa and
Ridgway. There will be no annual limits.
The hardwired relative order among all
existing and potential reservoirs will be:

Blue Mesa
Ridgway
Taylor Park
Paonia
Silver Jack
Crawford
(potential reservoirs in the
downstream-to-upstream order of the
tributaries on which they ilre located)

,.:1

,

v ,
