MllH 2 9
Project 7 Information

b.

c.

d.

July 6, 1993
Page 5

Maximum Annual Volume of Exchange.
A single, user-specified value in AF will be
reset on Ridgway Reservoir's
"administration date" each year as the
capacity of a "decree-type" (cumulative
annual cap) link on the path between the
South Canal and Fairview Reservoir. In
the Baseline and Historical Scenarios this
amount will be 23,000 AF, which will also
be the default "capacity" of the Tri-
County's M&I "pool" in Ridgway
Reservoir. (The capacities of the various
accounting "pools" in Ridgway Reservoir,
however, will be user-specified by keying
off the Ridgway Reservoir dialog box.)

Accrual Limit for Credits in Ridgway.
A single, user-specified value in AF will be
used as the fixed capacity of a RESV
construct that represents the UVP
"exchange credits" account in the separate
Ridgway Accounting Network. The ops
code will use the current "unfilled" space
within this account eaeh month as the
capacity of a link on the path between the
South Canal and Fairview Reservoir. The
default accrual limit will be 15,000 AF.

Monthly Ceiling Targets for Accrued
Credits in Ridgway. A 12 X I set of user-
specified values in AF will be used directly
by the Ops Code each month to determine
whether a preemptive "cooperative" release
of exchange credits should be made to
avoid bumping into the official accrual
limit. The default values will be
determined empirically during model
testing with the objective of allowing as
much accrual as possible, given the
Baseline level of Project 7 demands,
without triggering the accrual limit under
any of the three UVP protocols.
