<br />. <br /> <br />Water Contracts <br /> <br /> <br />Pursuant to the Boulder Canyon Project Act, the Secretary of the <br /> <br /> <br />Interior has executed contracts for the annual delivery of water <br /> <br /> <br />as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />California Agencies - In the aggregate amount of ,,362,000 <br /> <br /> <br />acre-feet per year <br /> <br /> <br />State of Arizona - 2,800,000 acre-feet per year plus one-half <br /> <br /> <br />of any excess or surplus water unapportioned by the Colorado <br /> <br /> <br />River Compact <br /> <br /> <br />State of Nevada - 300,000 acre-feet <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />All of the water contracts are made "subject to the availability <br /> <br /> <br />of water under the terms of the Colorado River Compact." <br /> <br />Boulder Canyon Project Adjustment Act (Act of July 19, 1940, <br /> <br /> <br />Ch. 643, '4 Stat. 774) <br /> <br /> <br />This Act authorized the Secretary of the Interior to promulgate and <br /> <br /> <br />to put into effect charges for electrical energy generated at <br /> <br /> <br />Boulder Dam, providing for the application of revenues from said <br /> <br /> <br />project, authorizing the operation of Boulder Powerplant by the <br /> <br /> <br />United States directly or through agents, and for other purposes. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Power Contracts <br /> <br /> <br />Contracts have been executed with Hoover Dam allottees to sell them <br /> <br /> <br />the generation of the Hoover powerplant.
