Several sources were used to determine well <br /> <br />location and idelltity. These include: <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />* Wells registered with the Office of the <br /> <br /> <br />State Engineer; <br /> <br /> <br />* Wells in existing plans of augmentation, as <br /> <br /> <br />registered with the Office of the state Engineer; <br /> <br /> <br />* Wells in existing and proposed plans of <br /> <br /> <br />augmentation, identified in Water Court Cases <br /> <br />contained in the files of Water Resources <br /> <br /> <br />Division No.1, Greeley. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />The boundary of the ground water basin was plotted from <br /> <br />published information authored by USGS [Hurr and Schneider, 1972]. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />SURFACE WATER SYSTEM <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />The agricultural water supply system in Water District No. 1 <br /> <br /> <br />co4sists of various-sized diversion canals, reservoirs (which <br /> <br /> <br />extend or exchange available supplies), and smaller distribution <br /> <br /> <br />ditches and laterals. A schematic diagram of the major components <br /> <br /> <br />of'the irrigation system is presented on Figure 3-1. Characteristics <br /> <br /> <br />of'the agricultural water supply system are highlighted in <br /> <br /> <br />Table 3-1.
