Gianelli, Director of <br />"'ater Resources, Chairman; Gordon Cologne, <br />State Senator, 36th District; and Ra~.I11(md R. <br />Rummouds, Chainll:1I1 of the Colorado River <br />Board. On August 28. 1968. Gm'eroor Ronald <br />Reagan appointed Theodore J. George, ;'larys- <br />,'ille Civil Engineer. to replace .'Ir. Rummonds. <br />\\'. Don ,\laughan. Chief of the Interstate Plan- <br />ning BrJllch of the [)ep;lrtment of '" ater Re- <br />sources and the Chief Engineer of the Colorado <br /> <br />River Board sen"ed as technical ad,.isors to the <br />California delegation. <br />The Council meets quarterly and the three <br />standing committees, Execurin'. 'Yater Policy <br />:1I1d Legislativc, and "':1ter Resources meet as <br />necessar~.. The Council unanimously passed <br />resolurions concerning changes in the 160-acre <br />limitation on Feder:ll projects and recommend- <br />ing that the sutes he given :1 greater ,'oice in <br />selection of wild ami scenic rivers within thcir <br />houndaries.
