<br />Previously reported studies were continued. On the study of channel
<br />aggradation or degradation in t.he Tusayan Washes of the Hopi Indian Reser-
<br />vation, Arizona, a progress report covering findings in 1957 and 1958 has
<br />been completed. In a small sub-basin of the Virgin River, on the Arizona
<br />Strip, collection of data on precipitation, runoff, and sediment yield was
<br />started.
<br />
<br />In regard to range water supplies, a report on the Ely Grazing Dis-
<br />trict, Nevada, was started. spot examinations were made in western
<br />Wyoming, southern Utah, and northwestern Arizona.
