Construction began in 1973 and completion of the CAP's 336
mile long aqueduct system is scheduled in 1992, The last major operat-
ing element of CAP currently scheduled for construction is New
Waddell Dam on the Agua Fria River. It will provide regulatory water
storage and will be finished in 1994.

Work on Roosevelt Dam is scheduled for completion by 1995.
Water distribution systems on Indian reservations are not expected to
be completed until after the year 2000.

The 15 member CA WCD Board of Directors is dedicated to serving
the three counties from which members are elected. This report will
provide an annual review of the efforts expended toward that end.
