In April <br />1946 Copper Basin reser\'oir \\'H.:.. lov..cred to permit a detailed exam- <br />ination of Copper Basin Dam. The water released was pumped <br />through the aqueduct to Lake Mathews and the reservoil' was im. <br />mediately refilled from the Colorado River. <br />
