<br />SAN JUAN-CHAMA <br />WATER ACCOUNTING <br />ALBUQUERQUE PROJECTS OFFICE <br />JULY 1993 <br /> <br />The natural inflow into Heron Reservoir during the month of July was computed to <br />be 160 acre-feet (af) as shown on Table 3. Net San Juan-Chama losses were <br />3200 af as shown on Table 2. There were 3046 af of San Juan-Chama water diverted <br />through Azotea Tunnel during July. <br /> <br />There were 3415 af of San Juan-Chama water released from Heron during the month <br />of July. The total amount was stored in MRGCD's Pool in E1 Vado. 1084 af were <br />from Cochiti's Pool, 985 af were from the City of Albuquerque's Pool, 1095 af <br />were released for Nambe Falls Reservoir, 157 af were for the Town of Bernalillo, <br />and the remaining 94 af were released for the Town of Taos. <br /> <br />A summary sheet is provided for water delivered from Heron, E1 Vado, and Abiquiu <br />Reservoirs. <br /> <br />Total precipitation reported at Heron Reservoir for the month of July was 0.00 <br />inches. The monthly computations for Heron Reservoir are summarized in Tables 1- <br />3. <br /> <br />Total inflow into Nambe Falls Reservoir was computed to be 1142 af. Evaporation <br />loss on the reservoir was 18 af. Table 4 summarizes San Juan-Chama water at <br />Otowi. <br /> <br />Estimated sediment deposition in the San Juan-Chama pools at Cochiti, Abiquiu, <br />and Jemez Canyon Reservoirs are presented in Tables 5A-5C. <br /> <br />Storage and evaporation of Rio Grande water in E1 Vado and Abiquiu reservoirs are <br />shown on Table 6. <br /> <br />All data are provisional and subject to revision as final data are collected and <br />analyzed. <br />
