Note: The numbers in parentheses (--) are references but also indicate the procedural sequence followed in making the
dis tribi1tion:
(1) Flood control benefits are provided by the Curecanti and Navajo Units only -- 48% and 52% of the total
respectively. The flood control allocation is distributed between the two units on this percentage basis.
(2) Reservoir fishery benefits are provided by the Flaming Gorge, Glen Canyon and Navajo Units -- 35% , 32%
and 33% of the total respectively. The fish and wildlife allocation is distributed among the three
units on this percentage basis.
(3) Navajo Unit provides flood control, reservoir fishery and irrigation and other consumptive uses benefits.
The total allocable cost of the Unit is distributed to irrigation and other consumptive uses after
deducting the amount of Unit cost distributed to flood control and fish and wildlife in (1) and (2).
(4) It is estimated that, as a long-time average, the holdover storage provided by the storage units,
which makes possible Upper Basin depletion of the Colorado River, is provided 74% by Glen Canyon
Units, 22% by Flaming Gorge Unit, and 4% by Curecanti Unit. The irrigation and other cons~ptive uses
allocation is distributed among these three units on this percentage basis after deducting therefrom the
portion of the irrigation and other consumptive uses allocation distributed to Navajo Unit in (3).
(65) The road relocation allocation is a separable cost of the Curecanti Unit.
() Allocable cost of each unit not distributed to other purposes is distributed to power.
