Normal reservoir seepage, tributary inflows,
and return flows will provide more chan the desired flows, Benefits
of the desired minimum flows were not evaluated; consequently, water
quality control is considered to be an incidental function at the
unit and has not been included in cost allocations or benefit-cost
analyses.

PUBLI C HEALTH

The Public Health Service, Department of Health, Education, and
Welfare, made a study of disease vector problems and public health
hazards in the Narrows area based upon available information and
data. Tbe report by the Public Health Service is appended to this
planning report.

All recommendations by the Public Health Service are acceptaDle
to the Bureau of Reclamation and will be implemented as fully as
possible.

48
