Thus, the duplicated <br />lands and affected villages and towns will be subject to ad valorem <br />tax levies by each district. <br /> <br />The Colorado-Big Thompson Project was exempted from the <br />provisions of the 160-acre limitation by the Act of June 16, 1938; <br />52 Stat. 764; 43 U,S,C, 386 which states in part: "That the excess- <br />land provisions of the Federal reclamation laws shall not be appli- <br />cable to lands which now have an irrigation water supply from <br />sources other than a Federal reclamation project and ~hich ~ill <br />receive B supplemental supply from the Colorado-Big Thompson <br />Project.
