" <br />Colin Thompson made a motion for adoption as read, <br />Howard Reynolds seconded, motion carried. <br />RESOLUTION: "BE IT RESOLVED, that the Stockholders <br />of the Amity Mutual Irrigation Company go on record com- <br />mending the Board of Directors and Employees of the Com- <br />pany who served us faithfully in our behalf during the past <br />year, and we therefore extend our sincere thanks for their <br />services." <br />"BE IT RESOLVED, that the Stockholders of the Amity <br />Mutual Irrigation Company go on record commending Mrs. <br />Dorothy Seufer, bookkeeper and company secretary from 1974 <br />to 1988, for serving us faithfully over the past fourteen years, <br />and we extend to her our sincere thanks." <br />"BE IT RESOLVED, that the Stockholders of the Amity <br />Mutual Irrigation Company do extend our most sincere sym- <br />pathies to the families and relatives of Arthur C. Tarman, Jr., <br />August 10, 1987, Myota Thompson, November 13, 1987, Verna <br />Mae Nazarenus, January 11,1988, Louise Wilson, February 10, <br />1988, who have become deceased the past year. We have <br />enjoyed working with these, our members, as co-workers of <br />our system and in our commumity and their contributions to <br />their communities will be forever remembered. <br />Be it further resolved, that copies of this resolution shall <br />be given to the newspapers and sent to their families as a <br />token of our respect." <br />"WHEREAS, pursuant to the terms of the decree in the <br />certain suit in Bent County, Colorado in which the Fort Lyon <br />Canal Company was Plaintiff and The Amity Mutual Irrigation <br />Company was Defendant, the terms thereof proved that the <br />rates of division of the expenses should remain at the amounts <br />fixed by said decree until November 1, 1988 and whereas no <br />additional regular meeting of the Stockholders will occur <br />between now and said date." <br /> <br />P5 <br />
