<br />The Amity Mutual Irrigation Company <br /> <br />Proceedings of Stockholders' Annual Meeting <br />14 QliiUTES OF STOCKHOLDERS' ANNUAL MEETING <br /> <br />March 7, 1988 <br />The Stockholders of the Amity Mutual Irrigation Company <br />held their Annual Meeting at the Company's Office in Holly, <br />Colorado, March 7, 1988, starting at 10:00 a.m. <br /> <br />President Paul Frank called the meeting to order and <br />appointed Jim Sherwood to chair the annual meeting and <br />Norma Dorenkamp as temporary secretary. <br />Proof of due notice and publication was read by company <br />secretary, Dorothy Seufer, and preliminary roll call was taken <br />by Dorothy Seufer. <br />The following committees were then appointed. <br /> <br />CREDENTIALS: Dorothy Seufer, Chairman, Myrna <br />Verhoeff, Barbara Thompson and Kerry Bezona. <br />RULES AND ORDER OF BUSINESS: Marvin Hamilton, Jr., <br />Chairman, James McGee and Jim Krieg. <br />ASSESSMENT: Colin Thompson, Chairman, Les <br />Weisenhorn, Brad Nevius and Clifford Verhoeff. <br />RESOLUTION: Ken Smartt, Chairman, Calvin Stalford and <br />Leo Po liar!. <br />A short recess was taken for the committees to meet. <br />The meeting was reconvened and guests were introduced. <br />John Weber and Ron Callahan from Ft. Lyon Ditch Co. and Bill <br />Howland from Divisionn of Water Resources; Linda Grubb <br />from The Lamar Daily News. Amity employees, Lewis Davis, <br />Superintendent and Bob Holl from the Lamar Division. <br />Mr. Sherwood then asked for report from the officers. <br />Supt. Davis commented on the annual report in the book, a <br />lot of work was done on drops, spillways at Lamar, reservoirs. <br />Headgate ciearing was a daily chore because of high river and <br />trash until early summer. There was small damage to the Holly <br />Division this year. The lakes were filled in 1987 spring and ran <br />water from them later in the summer. We are in the process of <br />rebuilding waste gates by the river. There is approximately <br />62,980 feet total in John Martin and the lakes have approx- <br />imately 8,000 feet available.
