(204) <br /> <br />Disposition of Public Land <br /> <br />The Ac.t prohibits the sale of public <br />1.ll1U to non-{:itllens or to corpora- <br />tions r\llt incorpllrated under State or <br />Federatl.nv. (207) <br /> <br />It provides authority for the St>C- <br />ret.uy of the Interior to insert terms <br />and conditions into patent to insure <br />the proper land use Jnd to protect the <br />public interest. The SecretJry is pro- <br />hibited from insl'rting terms and <br />conditions into I.,"d patents that <br />violate existing State and locall.1nd <br />use plans .1nd programs. (208) <br />It proVIdes for the reservation of <br />minerals to the UllIteu States in <br />public land sales, but allmvs for con- <br />veyance uf such rights in certain <br />specified situatIOns.
