Following
this review, the estimates of water demand will be refined and adjusted. Additional
Information will be developed as required for operational studies.

J\pproach

1) The comprehensive review of water demand projections developed in Sub-task 2b will be
reviewed and dJscussed by the TSC and presented to the PAG. Considering this input, the
rsc and the consultant will define near-term and long-term demand forecasts and any
refinements to demand projections that are needed.

2) As necessary, demand estimlltes will be adjusted to reflect additional characteristics such
as location of the demands, required diversion, consumptive use and patterns of return
flows, and temporal aspects of the demand.

3) The final demand estimates will be compared with the water demands represented in the
Environmental Baseline and against preliminary estimates and will be reviewed by the TSC
for its concurrence.

Output

The product of this sub-task will be the final Task 2 Technical Memorandum describing the
development of the final water demand projections. This document will serve as the basis
for site and project formulation and evaluation work of Task 5 and later tasks.

;,
,
;'
