I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I .002584 Plan of Study 16 SUB-TASK fa: Establish Studv Protocols and Schedules l'urpoIle The purpose of this sub-task is to clearly identify and define the roles of the TSC and PAG, the official contact persons at various participating agencies, the procedures to be followed in contacting agencies and individuals for information and in distributing study information to agencies and individuals, and the desired format of various study documents and correspondence. Definition of these protocols will help to ensure that study information is provided to the right people at the right time and that confusion and delay stemming from missed or misdirected communications are avoided. A related purpose of this sub-task is to develop a preliminary schedule for subsequent TSC and PAG meetings. A proposed schedule for all study tasks and meetings has been Included In this Plan of Study. It is expected that TSC meetings will be more frequent than PAG meetings since the TSC will have to address more detailed study issues and assumptions. A TSC meeting will be scheduled no less than two weeks prior to each PAG meeting to discuss the materials to be presented at the following PAG meeting. Approach The definition of study protocols and schedules would be accomplished at the first TSC meeting. Protocols will include clear explication of the roles of the TSC and PAG, names and mailing addresses of official contacts at participating agencies, and procedures for circulation of Information. These protocols and schedules will also be presented at the first PAG meeting to be held In Craig. This PAG meeting will serve as a "kickoff' public meeting for the study. Output The product of this sub-task will be a Task 1 Technical Memorandum outlining study protocols and containing mailing lists and a preliminary schedule ofTSC and PAG meetings.
