<br />65 <br /> <br /> <br />O~1849 <br />. <br /> <br />October to the following June, toavoid difficulties with heavy <br />floods which occur in the period of June to September, i~clUsive. <br />The river is diverted through the spillway conduit <br />during construotion of the dam, the crest section to be construoted <br /> <br />last. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Construction facilities, such as railroads, highways, <br /> <br />power lines, housing, etc., are available at or near the site. <br /> <br />Future Investigations <br />Construction will need to be preceded by further investi- <br />gation of the dam foundation and embankment materials. The matters <br />of highway, railroad, and water-main relocations will require <br /> <br />further consideration and agreements with the affected organizations. <br /> <br /> <br />This report has only attempted to set forth feasible plans for <br /> <br /> <br />accomplishing desired purposes with practicable plans consistent <br /> <br /> <br />with reasonable provision for parties eccupying the needed rights <br /> <br /> <br />of way. <br /> <br />. <br />
