records, the agrcement of the two estirrultes is remQrkably close _

one giving 34,000 and the other33,OCXl acrc feet.

The othcr two groups of streams, lying respectively north

and south of the BacQ Grunt, have been estimr.ted by Engineers

Conkling and Dcbler as producing 25,000 acre feet and 32,000 acre

feet respectively.

The follmnng table summarizes the computed long-term

mean - and also presents un estimate for such a period of low runoff

as 1925-19.34, inclusive. The latter figures thcn scrve as e. bn.sis

for computing the fur smaller amount that may bo actuQlly recovor-

ed by the proposed Sump Drain.
