Delivery of
this water to consumers is accomplished
through the participating projects.

'rf.~'

&

Aerial view of Navajo Dam

Contents

FY 79 in Review
Highlights .. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Construction Activities. . . . . . . . . . .
Environmental Activities. . . .
Salinity Control Activities. . . . . . . . . . .
Operations ....
Power Sales . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Irrigation Operations. . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Youth Programs. . . . . . . . . .
Recreation .........
Social and Cuiturai Resources. . . . .
Fish and Wildlife

.. .. .. ... 2
4
6
7
8
10
12
13
14
16
18

Financial Condition
Comparative Balance Sheet. . . . . . .
Income and Expense Summary
Cash Receipts and Disposition. .

............... 20
......... .......22
............. .......23

Allocation and Repayment
Allocation of Federal Investment . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 24
Estimated Project Costs. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . , . . . 26
Estimated Project Costs by Purposes. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . , 27
Estimated Repayment on Federal Investment . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 28
Progress on Repayment. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . , . . . . . 29
Rate of Repayment . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 30
Power Repayment Study. . . . . . . . . . . . . . , . . . . 32

Map

.. .. .. . 36

Exhibit - Historical and Projected Repayment of
Authorized Reimbursable Investment
