Rinckel, Projects Manager <br /> <br />of the Bureau of Reclamation's Grand Junction Office. <br /> <br />The Department of the Interior is proposing a new set of rules <br /> <br />and regulations to enforce the existing law concerning excess lands. <br /> <br />The enactment of these rules has been stayed pending c~mpletion of <br /> <br />any environmental statement, pursuant to a decision of the Federal <br /> <br />District Court in Fresno, California. <br /> <br />The Bureau of Reclamation has begun the collection of data for <br /> <br />the preparation of the environmental statement. The statement will <br /> <br />analyze the agricultural economics, community, social, and environ- <br /> <br />mental impacts of the proposed rules based on a number of special <br />
